Maori Week

We are very excited about Maori Week. Room Two have lots of Maori myths and legends to read. We would like to invite whanau to visit Room Two during Maori Week and we can share our learning.

Mrs Tafa Our Fantastic Teacher Aide

Mrs Tafa is a fantastic teacher aide. She helps us every day. Every morning she takes our lunch orders and listens to us read. At maths time Mrs Tafa plays games with us and helps solve number problems. At the end of the week Mrs Tafa takes students out for Golden Time. This is when we get to use the scooters or play in the sandpit. We love having Mrs Tafa in our class.

Pink Shirt Day

We are anti bullying in Room Two. To show our support we dressed up in pink and donated a gold coin. Our school raised over $350 helped to show others that being a bully is not cool!

The boys in Room 2 thought it would be a good idea to decorate pink hats in support of Pink Shirt Day.
